Subaru WRX STI – Confidence in Motion

To highlight the performance of the 2011 Subaru WRX STI, DDB Canada created a WRX-powered zoetrope animation that shot 760 frames of animation, latching a camera rig to the car itself and filming the spot in one continuous take, with no CGI.

I was responsible for outlining the outreach strategy, targeting niche automotive forums in Canada as well as top-tier creative and automotive sites with impressive global reach. The work received tremendous pick-up, with lots of love from Jalopnik, Gizmodo,, and many more.
